Your Mac can optimize storage by using iCloud to automatically make more storage space available when needed.* Let your Mac free up storage space for you. You can also use built-in utilities to quickly find and delete files, apps, books, movies, and other items that are taking up space, then delete items you no longer need.
If you have another storage device, such as an external drive connected to your Mac, you can move files to that device. Media files such as photos and videos can use a lot of storage space, so you can take steps such as these:
* Storing files in iCloud uses storage space in your iCloud storage plan. If you reach your iCloud storage limit, you can buy more iCloud storage, or you can make more iCloud storage available. iCloud storage starts at 50GB for $0.99 (USD) a month. You can purchase additional storage directly from your Apple device. Learn more about prices in your region.
Podcasts consumes abnormally high "Documents & Data" storage. I deleted Podcasts app and reinstalled. Then "Documents & Data" usage dropped almost Zero. But it became over 1.7GB now. I deleted cached data after I listened but storage use does not drop as much as the cached podcast I deleted. As result, storage usage steadily increases. As you see following screenshot, I have only 10.4MB cached podcast, but "Documents & Data" shows 1.72 GB usage.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings > Podcasts, then check if Sync Podcasts is turned on. If so then you need to un-sync from all the devices and then delete the app and download again.
"Sync Podcasts" option was enabled on my iPhone. I have only iPhone. There is no other devices to sync. I did not save any podcasts. They were only downloaded. Still are those downloaded podcasts supposed to be kept in background even after deleting them?
I turned off "Sync Podcasts" option after deleting and downloading the Podcast app, but it did not improve or fix the situation. After playing about 24 hours podcast (I listen twice the speed, about 48 hours data download), difference between the "Document & Data" usage and sum of downloaded data is already 0.7GB.
All files uploaded to your Dropbox must be smaller than your storage space. For example, if your account has a storage quota of 2 GB, you can upload one 2 GB file or many files that add up to 2 GB. If you are over your storage quota, Dropbox will stop syncing.
With the addition of the Command Center, we tried shrinking the menu bar to a hamburger menu to make space. After hearing user feedback, we switched back to the old menu bar folding behavior until most of the menu is collapsed, and only then switch to the hamburger menu.
The new setting terminal.integrated.shellIntegration.decorationsEnabled lets you display command decorations in either the gutter, the overviewRuler, or neither. For easy access, you can modify this setting via Configure Command Decorations in a context menu when you click on a decoration (select Toggle visibility to display the options dropdown).
When shell integration is enabled, we're aiming run recent command to be a cross-shell drop in replacement for the shell's reverse search (Ctrl+R). There is a new contiguous search mode that is the default when triggering the command. This behaves like Ctrl+R in most shells, with the option of switching back to fuzzy search:
The Trusted Workspace feature allows VS Code to simplify the flow for running automatic tasks. By default, automatic tasks will run if a folder is trusted and you'll be prompt once per folder otherwise. This behavior can be configured with the task.allowAutomaticTasks setting (default auto) to always (on) or never (off) prompt before running an automatic task.
It is now possible to display UI showing which scope the user is in during scrolling. The "sticky scroll" UI will show which class/interface/namespace/function/method/constructor the top of the editor is in, helping you know the location within a document. Enable sticky scroll with the editor.experimental.stickyScroll.enabled setting.
To try out Edit Sessions, set workbench.experimental.editSessions.enabled in your settings and use the Edit Sessions: Store Current Edit Session command, signing in with GitHub or Microsoft authentication when prompted. Then use the Edit Sessions: Resume Latest Edit Session command in a repository on another machine or VS Code instance to restore the working contents of all modified files to your workspace. You can sign out of Edit Sessions at any time using the Edit Sessions: Sign Out command.
The text editor drop API lets extensions handle dropping of files or other content into text editors. These drop events can come from within VS Code, such as dragging a file from VS Code's Explorer into a text editor, or can be generated by dropping a file from your operating system into VS Code.
To drop a file into an editor, users can hold down kbsytyle(Shift) while dragging and then drop the file to a specific location in the file. At this point, your extension can choose what to do with the dropped data.

You need to be on macOS Big Sur or Monterey, then you can download Bartender 4 from the website, open the disk image and move Bartender 4 to your applications folder. You can then delete any previous versions of Bartender you have and launch Bartender 4.
Unlike other USB duplication tools, ImageUSB can preserve all unused and slack space during the cloning process, including the Master Boot Record (MBR). ImageUSB can perform flawless mass duplications of all UFD images, including bootable UFDs.
imageUSB includes functionality to Zero a USB Flash Drive. This will replace the contents of the entire drive with 0s. Or alternatively to just Zero the MBR and/or GPT entries that exists on the drive. In addition, imageUSB has the ability to reformat even hard to format drives and reclaim any disk space that may be lost previously.
Warning: Due to the forensic nature of image duplication by ImageUSB, please ensure that you select UFDs with a storage size similar to the image you wish to duplicate. For example, if a 2GB image is copied to an 8GB USB Flash Drive, the drive will only be able to use two out of the eight gigabytes of storage space. In this scenario, users will need to reformat the UFD in order to access the rest of the storage space.
-Extend Partition will add a new partition to fill remaining space when writing image smaller than drive if extending is not an option. New Partition will be formatted using NTFS. If more than one drive is selected in the write imaging processing. Due to likely disk signature collusion, drives may be placed offline by Windows. As such Extend or Add Partition may only work on first drive selected.
The Project pane (upper left window) shows the connected UA Servers and the open document plugins. The Address Space pane (lower left window) shows the UA Servers information model. Depending on the Node selected in the Browser the Attribute and Reference Windows (upper right and lower right windows) show the attribute of the selected Node and its references within the meshed network of the servers address space.
This plugin is shown in the center pane of UaExpert by default. You can (multi-) select UA Nodes in the Address Space window and drag-and-drop them into the DA View. The DA View cerates a subscription and monitors the Nodes. Sampling rate and subscription interval can be changed by right-click into the DA View.
You need to select a UA Node (this object must have the HasEvents attribute) in the Address Space browser an drag-and-drop it into the Configuration group of the Event View. Now you can select EventFields you are interested in for this eventing object, some fields are already configured by default (check boxes in the tree view). Whenever the object fires an event it will be displayed in the center group of the Event View. Here you can switch tabs beween Events and Alarm showing you the historical list of events or the current state of pending alarm. When clicking on an event the lower pane group will show you all the details of this particular event according to the selected event fields you ticked in the configuration.
You need to select a UA Node (this object must have set the HistoryReadable flag of the (User)AccessLevel) in the Address Space browser an drag-and-drop it into the Configuration group of the Historical View. Here you can select the drawing color, especially when you add several Nodes to the list. TheHistorical Trend View supports two modes for fetching the data from the UA Server, the Single Update and the Cyclic Update.
First you need to select the UA Nodes that should be used for testing (they all must have proper accessrights for write tests and they should move - automonously change data - for subscription tests). You can (multi-) select the nodes in the AddressSpace browser and drag-and-drop them into the centerlist of nodes. All nodes must be from the same UA Server and should have the same data type for easier interpretation of the results. Now the performance measurement must be configured, you need to select the UA services you want to measure and you must configure the number of nodes used for the set of measurements. The number of cycles gives you the number of calls performed for each measurement (high number will give acurate average measurement, but may take long time). The UaExpert will call the UA Service and measure the duration of each call. Alternatively you can choose the Duration option instead. Here the UaExpert will call the UA service as fast as possible in that time span and count how many calls could be performed (this option should be used on very fast operation to give an accurate result).
